One of the best places we've ever stayed in. The hosts are gracious and helpful, breakfast is rich and tasty. Facilities are great (there's a drying room and a fridge in the common area). The room was quiet and super clean, the bed was comfy. We were sorry to leave.

Owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The owners were really interesting and as a result we stayed up late chatting with them and also noticed how attentive they were to the other guests’ needs. Very comfortable bed and a nice communal space to relax in with free tea and coffee. Very close to the Cairngorms and local town has some good amenities.

Close to both Kingussie Golf Club and Ruthven Barracks, Avondale House is situated in Kingussie and has spa facilities and garden.

Absolutely fantastic Kev & Kirsty were excellent hosts, they provided lots of information about the surrounding area - places to visit, directions etc The guest house is lovely with a beautiful garden, sauna and hot tub. Inside is also beautifully presented. The room was also lovely and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with a huge choice of options. It is also in an ideal location.

Rossmor is simply a dream. The house is beautiful. The spaces are cozy. The view is spectacular. Breakfast is prepared with such care and has such amazing flavors that words can't describe it. We spent three nights at this amazing guesthouse, and it was a truly delightful experience. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly clean. It really felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. Every morning, we could choose from an extensive menu, allowing us to try something different each day. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. She provided us with many useful tips about the local area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The shared living room and garden were also great additions, giving us a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Moreover, the location was perfect—centrally located, making it easy to access all the attractions and activities in the area. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay.
