Where do I even start...it was AMAZING! The staff first and foremost were brilliant, starting with Sarah, who welcomed me with a huge smile and means to help in any way she could (like having my room ready a bit earlier than check in time or going through all there is to know about my staying), and then there was the lovely Allison at breakfast, so cheerful and sunny. I felt real love for the job from these two. The rest of the crew I didn't meat unfortunately. The room that I got was H-U-G-E and absolutely perfect in style and comfort. Bed was big and very comfy, the heating was just right, felt like home. Can't praise enough. That's exactly the way I would like all the hotels or RBNBs to be like.

location so good. easily drive to Bakewell. so quiet at night. clean and warm. and there‘s cycle hire for Mont trail at the Cafe nearby where you have breakfast. the trail was fantastic.

The property is well located right in the centre of Bakewell and super easy to find, right next door to the old Bakewell pudding shop and tons of little cafes for breakfast. The staff are super friendly and it was a lovely room. Well decorated and a super comfy bed that made it hard to get out of!! The shower was really powerful and complimentary toiletries included. Easy access for out of normal pub hours as well. Whilst there is no parking, there are many car parks really close by and the agricultural centre is literally a 5 min walk away and £6 for 24 hours. There are 4 or 5 free 30 min spaces parking out side the pub so easy for dropping off your stuff. The hours are 8am to 6pm for the free 30 mins so you can park overnight if you arrive after 6 but you do need to move your car by 8.30 to make sure the following morning! Breakfast isn’t offered but you really don’t need it with so many little local cafes within 2 minutes Walk.

Located in the heart of the Peak District National Park and surrounded by villages, historic sites and stately homes, the historic Peacock has undergone continuous renovation over the last few years...

We loved our stay our room was cosy and comfortable very warm on a very cold day and night staff we're fabulous and what we loved the most is that when we ate our meals we weren't surrounded by dogs. I highly recommend the special board as the steak and kidney pudding was beautiful and just what I needed on a cold day very very nice, thank you all much appreciated 👏

A very warm welcome! Our hosts couldn't be more friendly. The food was delicious. Bedroom was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Our stay at The View was superb. On arrival things were made simple with clear and concise directions and instructions. Upon entering the property it had surpassed our expectations and was incredibly well presented, clean, and had all the amenities that were required, along with some very nice personal touches. It was very comfortable and very homely. The only negative was that we had only booked one night and wish we would have stayed longer. Which we no doubt will in the future. We would like to thank the hosts Lisa and Pete for the use of their property.
