Beautiful building, gorgeously renovated, in a quiet and peaceful location yet only 10mins walk to two lovely bars/restaurants. We had the attic room which was immaculately clean, modern and comfortable - fabulous bathroom and comfortable bed made it a brilliant stay. Having the communal kitchen downstairs is fabulous! Really well equipped kitchen and classy dining room was the icing on the cake. Great communication from Lindsey too 😃. We were cycling the NCN78 route and Lyndsey could not have been more helpful providing a secure location to store our bikes overnight!! I’m positive you couldn’t find a better classed accommodation in the area!!

Our stay was upgraded to Elphame which is a beautiful mansions with three storeys. The villa is done beautifully and has an amazing collection of books. We also visited the winter woods that was hosted in the forest next to the property. Breakfast was delicious as well

Very lovely host. Before my stay I asked for advice on nice restaurants to celebrate my birthday and Doreen has been very responsive and gave me great advice. Once at Burnside I have been very touched to find a birthday card and a bottle of wine waiting for me. Attention to details is very clear and I couldn't recommend more this place.

Really lovely property! It is a lovely 5-10 minute stroll from the train station through the town (if Google Maps says longer, ignore it) and easily located. There is a supermarket near and food options around. You can tell the property is very cared for, and the room facilities were of great quality and worked well. Super clean too. I stayed in the single room and it was on the top floor. I look forward to staying here again when I return to Oban for more seaside adventures.
