Super friendly landlady. Nice room, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent breakfast, private parking. We wanted to stay the night somewhere out of the hussle & bustle of Edinburgh and this was the perfect location. We asked for advice on somewhere to eat in the evening and she suggested "The Grapes Village Pub" nearby in East Calder. It was cosy, had friendly staff, and the best pub meal we've had for a longtime.

We really loved our stay in Edinburgh, and this guest house suited our needs for this trip perfectly. Good sized, comfortable and clean room with everything we needed (we had a room in the basement). Great quiet location, and perfect for a walk to the city center. Good selection of cafes, shops and resturants/pubs nearby. Overall great value for the price!

The rooms were bigger than expected and everything was clean. The beds are on the soft side but I didn't mind for a few days. The breakfast was excellent and always freshly prepared, no buffet, only a la carte. Because of that adjustments were also possible (we were two vegetarians and the Scottish diet is rather meat heavy). You could easily reach the city center via Bus (takes about 15 minutes) and the airport is a less than 30 minute bus drive away. There is a Tesco close by and since there is a fridge in the room we were able to store some snacks and drinks without problems. Anjoe and Thomas were very nice and accommodating and always ready to help us solve problems.

The room was cosy, clean and perfect for a couple of days in the city. The guesthouse is not in the city center but it is well connected with bus. Lovely neighborhood with serval great restaurants, pubs and backeries.

The owners were very helpful and welcoming.The room was fantasticand the location amazing. The main bus route is half a block away. You do not need to use your car at all. Easy to navigate. Every day we got a breakfast bag and a lovely surpriseon EasterSaturday when we returned to our room that night a beautiful boxed Easter Egg. Very thoughtful.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly nice and attentive. The accommodation is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood, yet still very close to the city center – the perfect balance. The room was spotless, very cosy, with a huge and comfortable bed. Every morning, we were surprised with some delightful treats from the host, which made our stay even more special.
