Elgin Guest House was perfectly located, next to Stagecoach Elgin Bus Station and 15 min by walk from the railway. You can easily go to the centre by feet. John was very helpful and the communication very easy. We had coffee, chocolate, tea and biscuits. The room was confortable.

Small hotel that provides excellence size of room, high ceiling, large bathroom (we booked family room), adequate furnitures in the room. They have a small kitchen, which makes pretty good dinner and breakfast. I am a frequently traveler, and not staying small hotel or Airbnb room, I booked this room based on the pictures showed on the web, and price. I didn’t expect the facility was really nice, like a good hotel (not a motel!) room. Highly recommend.

Everything was wonderful, the owners were super receptive and the location is close enough to the pubs to walk but far enough that I was able to see deers in the morning. I loved staying there!

Such a beautiful historic home and continues to be a great place to stay. The owners are particularly generous with their time and attention to detail. With my visit being in Winter I was happy to see I had electrical blankets on the beds. Showers had an abundance of hot water and the home was decorated lovely for Christmas. Breakfast choices were varied and super coffee being served. Complimentary bottles of water and snack bars and chocolates also in abundance.

A small, cozy and 200 years old building that is now a 4 rooms hotel, 5 minutes walk from Elgin city center. Pete the owner is amazing, very kind, excellent hospitality and service awareness. Very good breakfast, cooked to order, big rooms in an old, antique style - simply beautiful. Bonus - Pete has an amazing collection of old classic cars including a 1920s Rolls-Roys ….
