Such a beautiful and peaceful place hidden in the countryside only 10 minutes from Oban.

We’ve appreciated everything : it’s a lovely location well decorated with a lot of taste, very clean, with a warming welcoming. We could have stayed for more days with a lot of pleasure

The owners packed a lot of great amenities into the lovely and comfortable accommodation. The microwave, refrigerator, and drip coffee maker were a happy bonus. Doreen was very welcoming and helpful!

So much care given into every detail! Beautiful spacious room with stunning views, amazing modern bathroom, very comfortable bed, equipped with everything you could imagine! Even chocolates and whiskey! The hosts are very caring.

Jacqueline and Stuart were welcoming, gracious and had genuine concern for the comfort and well-being of their house guests. We visited during very treacherous weather conditions but they were a calming presence and offered good solid advise for our onward travels. If we visit Oban again we will most definitely stay at the Rose Villa Guest house. Our room was well appointed , very clean , offered instant hot water shower and had all the comforts you would expect in a top notch hotel room. Good job Jacqueline and Stuart !!

Very central, near the port and close to amenities! Super clean and quiet! Josephine and Robert were extremely kind and welcoming. It was all we needed for our two day stay in Oban!

We wanted to book a place within walking distance of the train and bus stations. Oban is a small place, and Dana Villa was within a few blocks of everything. It is in a row of guesthouses that are a very easy walk to any part of town, including the ferry. (Note: We took the ferry to Isle of Mull, but the only public bus going to the town on Mull within two hours was full, so we turned around and came back. We enjoyed the ferry round trip, but our advice is to get an earlier ferry to avoid the crowd. If you find yourself in Oban for a few hours, the War and Peace Museum is well worth a visit, and you can climb the hill to get a wonderful view from McCaig's Tower.) We got more than we expected from the guesthouse. The hosts do not serve breakfast, but they had arranged a discount with a nearby hotel. We didn't use it, so I can't speak to the breakfasts there. The hosts made it possible for us to check in on our own by giving us a code for a key box. They also recommended restaurants in town. The room itself was lovely, scented with lavender, and very clean. The bathroom was excellent--roomy, a sink area with a lot of space, a great shower, and a towel warmer. We even got a very useful suggestion from our host as we were leaving. When he learned we were going to spend just one afternoon in Glasgow, he suggested a tour of the municipal building near the train station. We learned online that the tickets can only be arranged at 2 and the tour is at 2:30. Surprisingly, this was a wonderful tour of a particularly beautiful building.

Perfect location and friendly host. City Centre was very close. The host had lots of advice on where to go.
