The place was great, right next to the center of Oban a nice 5 minute walk down to the pier. The room was small but had everything we needed, very clean, modern and comfortable. I got confused with the code trying to get in (my fault) and they were quick to answer the phone and help me check in. Overall great experience

Our room had a beautiful sitting area, three windows looking out to the loch in front of the house. It was wonderful to sit there in the morning drinking our first cup of coffee, watching the activity and feeling the cool morning breeze from two of the three open windows. We also had a gigantic soaking tub in the bathroom, that sadly we didn't have time to use. The small gardens in front of the house were lovely, as well. Breakfast was cooked to order, and we loved the food (my scrambled eggs with salmon was perfect!) Our host was friendly and went out of his way to inquire about our trip to date and what we had seen. Just a wonderful stay!

Rose Villa has set an incredibly high benchmark for others to follow. Luxurious single bed, superior linen, wonderful staff/owners onsite, every detail attended to. Great location. It felt better than home.

Great location. A few blocks from town and 15 mins from ferry and an easy trip to Mull and Iona. Josephine is very friendly and welcoming. Appreciated the parking in the back - worth the 5L per night. Was a great deal at a great price.

A superb room, spacious and beautifully presented, with lots of thoughtful touches. Ideally located near water front and car park and with very effective triple glazing so very quiet and peaceful stay. The juice and breakfast pastries were much appreciated.
