We loved Minster Walk Guesthouse! The location was great, very close to the town centre. The property was very cosy and welcoming, just what we were looking for. There were some lovely little extra touches, for example mini mince pies and a liquor waiting for us in our room and mulled wine in the downstairs lounge. The breakfast was brilliant, lovely to have it delivered to our room and they were very good at accomodating my husbands gluten allergy.

Such super friendly staff (especially Alison. Went out of her way to ensure I had a ground floor room so I didn’t have to carry a heavy bag upstairs. Really appreciated it.

We added breakfast to our plan. The dining room was well appointed, had a range of fruits, juice, and yogurt and cereal alongside a full English Breakfast cooked to order. A perfect way to fuel a day of sightseeing.

The room was impecable, they left for us some tea and coffee and a sweet treat which I thought it was a nice detail. Directions and indications to enter the room and building were super easy and clear. We asked for late check out at 1 pm, it only costed us 6£ more which we thought was cheap. Bathroom fully equipped with anything you need to shower and also hand soap. The bed was super comfy and clean, the room had netflix and other services installed so that was also a nice touch. It is a bit far the city center (15 min walking) but that made it better for us because it was a very calm and quiet area but also close enough to do everything by foot. The hosts were very communicative and nice. Overall a Great experience, highly recommend!

Everything! Loved the place. The staff were all amazing, very genuinely friendly, and going above and beyond for me. (Even after I had just checked out. ) Jamie was delightful. Good to have a chat and a laugh with. I Highly reccommend staying here. Will come back if I get back to York!
