This is an exceedingly comfortable, quiet and convenient family-run hotel situated on the very edge of the trendy old section of Nafplion, and directly below the Palamidi Fortress on the hilltop overlooking the city. The proprietor and his family lived in the building for years, and then renovated it into this very charming and splendidly upgraded tourist hotel. Everything in our room was newly decorated and furnished, particularly the bathroom and small kitchenette space. No breakfast served, but we were referred to an excellent local breakfast cafe a few blocks away, named Kalimeri, where we ate both mornings of our stay. The old town downtown is steps away from this pension, and is very lively and energizing. Is also near the harbor.

Took us a minute to find it, but that was due to our navigation skills. Beautiful room, amazing views, very helpful and friendly staff. The room was very clean with beautiful furnishings. Our balcony gave us stunning views. It was a quick walk into town for our dinner. We were only staying one night but wish we had planned to stay longer. Overall would very much recommend!

Our host Evie was wonderful. Provided some bottled water upon arrival as tap water in Nafplio is not safe to drink. Kettle with coffee and teas in the room, and our room was cleaned and made daily (without needing to request services). Great location close to the port for free parking.

Everything! The room was clean and we had a beautiful view. Nice balcony and good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was delicious and they had an expansive healthy selection . The ladies that worked in the breakfast room were so friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions on places to visit and general info about the area. I would love to come back!!!
