It was a very nice trip in Bukit Lawang with Jhony and Lana. They are very kind and helpful when you need something. The trek in the jungle with them was a unique and incredible experience.

The location is a perfect base for jungle trekking but the best thing is the incredible staff and the amazing food. I’m genuinely sad to leave and it feels like I’m leaving my home. Our stay here was amazing! The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, bathroom also nice and everything is clean. Also the room has a big balcony with incredible view. The staff was also great, we arranged everything we needed through them and it was not a problem. We also booked a one day jungle trek with them and it was excellent. Our guide Dani and his brother were good guides and also very nice people.

Excellent stay in this beautiful and cosy lodge (only 2 cottages, so you feel very private). The most polite and friendly staff and extremely helpful and available at all times. Highly recommend if visiting with family or solo! We didn't order their food since we are vegetarians and had young kids with their dietary needs, but that was not an issue at all as they kindly let us use their kitchen for preparing our meals. The cottage itself was spacious and clean. Jungle trek and transport was also arranged promptly and the prices were very competitive. Thank you Bayu, JaJang, Henry, nDaka and the rest of the team for a memorable stay!

I loved my stay here. The location is incredible - literally within the jungle. The staff are friendly and helpful, and took me out on a night jungle trek. I have never stayed anywhere like this, and I would recommend Back to Nature to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the jungle near Bukit Lawang. Truly a one of a kind accommodation.

Everything. Everyone involved in the accommodation and its services were so friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and engaged in talk so you feel very comfortable being there. Recently they opened their restaurant which serves amazing food so I had no need to eat elsewhere, plus canter for certain dietary requirements. Plus a beautiful garden to enjoy and 3 lovely dogs too.

We stayed in Bukit Lawang and it was amazing. Our guide Monang was very kind and took care of us all the time. We went to the jungle and saw orangutans and other monkeys. It was a big dream for me! After the trek we came back on the river with a fun rafting boat, it was so great. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with nice people. We felt welcome and safe. I really recommend this place and our guide Monang, he was fantastic and made our trip very special.

Lovely place ran by a very nice family and their team in a peaceful little village not far from Bukit lewang. They arranged my jungle Trek as soon as I arrived which was perfect. Waking up to rice fields and mountain views, what more could you wish for?
