The House is really nice and the location in the middle of the forest is just amazing! If you need to relax it’s definitely the perfect location. Restaurants are a little bit far away, but the owner drove me for free to the next best! The owner and his family are really helpfull and also kindly. I lost my charger there and the owner even drove the next day to my next hotel and gave it to me just for a little bit of money! :)

Villa Wastra is probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever been. It’s true that it is not a centric as other places in Ubud but if you’re looking for a place off the beaten track where you can unwind and just listen to the birds chirping, this is the place. We were lucky to be the only guests, which made the experience more unique. Besides, Maria, the host, was extremely helpful and caring. I actually cried when leaving the house.

I had an extremely positive experience at this home stay. The room was beautiful and had a peaceful and welcoming vibe to it. The staff were lovely and were so helpful carrying some very heavy luggage I had. In particular Widhy was so efficient, professional yet friendly. She was quick to answer any questions I had and even went above and beyond in helping me purchase an item in the room which I found to be exceptional quality. It would be difficult to find a better place to stay!

It was a nice stay. The villa was very clean and quite decent, with less noise in the surroundings compared to our previous stay at Sankara Resort. The rooms were tidy, and the property manager, Tulus, along with the other staff, were very helpful throughout our stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights and will be back here next time I come to Ubud for sure! There’s a bit less reviews to go on because the place only opened 1 month ago. My room was very nice and very clean. The bathroom was really nice as well. The family that runs the place is exceptionally kind and really help out if you have a request (I asked for an extra towel, use of a hairdryer,..). The laundry service they work with was good and very reasonably priced. The small pool looked really clean and inviting as well but I didn’t have the time to use it. I’ll try that out next time. :) Bonus: it’s walking distance to the center of Ubud if you don’t want to rent a motorcycle.
