Guest Houses in Senggigi

The superb staff and services are beyond words. Abdul welcomed us on our arrival with a big smile, offered us refreshing drinks on a warm afternoon, clearly explained the housekeeping rules, and very kindly carried our heavy bags upstairs. Stefanie, the owner of the guesthouse, then offered us some local snacks before we went on our hunt for dinner. We couldn't thank Rei, our driver, enough for taking care of us throughout our stay. He took into account my parents' age, capability and safety when recommending the Gili tours for us - instead of the most expensive 5 Gili tour, which he explained would be too physically demanding for them, he suggested the 3 Gili tour, which we all enjoyed very much. He speaks good English and is very funny. He also considerately played some Chinese music in the car for my non-English-speaking parents when driving us around. When I was out of cash, he lent me some without asking for a receipt. The sweetest thing was that he invited us to a family birthday party, where we enjoyed a yummy local hotpot meal and a wonderful night. We really appreciate the love they gave us!🧡 The house itself is such a lovely compound with beautiful plants in the yard and cute English decorations Stefanie put everywhere. Our family room was spacious, bright and clean, with air-conditioning and a big bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, and the bespoke towels were a personal touch of the owner. We also had a huge balcony with a relaxing overview of the yard. They put up several WiFi extenders around the house to ensure excellent WiFi signals everywhere. As many other guests have commented, the guesthouse offers unlimited free water, milk and tropical juices in the fridge in the dining room, and the continental breakfast (help-yourself toasties, 2 eggs, pancake/cakes and fruits) was simple but balanced and delicious. White Rose was of incredible value for money and was our favourite accommodation in Indonesia.

The view from the pool was amazing! In the morning, you can watch the fishing boats go out to their fishing grounds and sail back after they were done. The villa’s location also lends itself to viewing Mt. Agung (if the weather permits), and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The property is very well maintained and contributes to a peaceful setting.

Frank was an excellent host. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel relaxed. Great pool to wind down in after traveling.

It was a really comfortable stay at Mugeni Homestay. The location is great, and the rooms are good value. Best of all however, are the very welcoming hosts, Willie and Ruben. They go out of their way to make sure that your stay is wonderful. They sorted out my scooter rental for 23 days, and even took me to the airport by scooter at the end of my Lombok trip for a small price.

Quiet, quaint, and cozy. Nice pool and beautiful surroundings. Excellent manager, very polite and friendly, spoke very good English.

Super quiet small apartment in the backyard, comfortable bad, some rooms have fans, others have air con. The included breakfast is simple but delicious (you can always buy an upgrade).

It was a really nice and clean accomodation! The staff is happy to help you and it is even possible to rent scooters at a place right at the hotel! The only thing is maybe the food that is not the best compared to other food we had in Indonesia but there are plenty of other restaurants :)

[Photos are from after our stay, it looked so much better I promise] The homestay was exceptional, set in a secluded area away from main roads and noisy bikes. Everything about this place was awesome - the cuteness of the front patio, to the garden just outside... Even the towels had beautiful flowers set on top of them! All the bells and whistles were available as well - fridge, kettle, free coffee & tea, the cleanest bathroom I've used in all of Indonesia, sliding doors to keep all the cold air from the AC in. I only stayed for a night, but I seriously regretted this, as similarly priced accommodation in another part of Lombok just didn't compare at all. Many thanks to the host!

The place is super cozy, no hostel/hotel feeling, perfect choice to have a rest and feel home. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, beautiful clean territory for a walk, yoga, or just enjoying a cup of tea.
