We found this accomodation on booking.com and gave it a try. It was a good decision, we enjoyed our stay here. The host was very welcoming, being there at our disposal but not disturbing us. Our room was simple and big and comfortable with an attached bathroom, hot water was available. I liked that all information is given in a message after booking, with clear rules, covering everything. We know what to expect and the host is very straightforward with us. Thank you for the pleasant stay, Mr Johnson.

This is the perfect stay if you are looking for time in nature and the backwaters. Room is comfortable, clean, and with AC - so you can relax perfectly in the room. The balcony is great too and offers direct view on the littler river. The host Lizza is kind and fun, always there to help, Plan trips, cook food for you. The whole house is so beautiful, so you will enjoy having breakfast/dinner on the long table in the Main hall. This place seems suitable for anyone: alone-traveller, backpackers, couples, familys with kids. They have a garden to hang out too! And best part: its only 10sec walk to the starting point of your boat trip (Lizza will arrange)! Then you can discover lakes, big rivers, small rivers and village life in the backwaters. Ask Lizza for a TukTuk (Autoriksha) drive through the little streets through this area, so you will see more small rivers with plants, more village life, rice plantages and local life :) This is the place to be! This is one of those place where you feel immediately at home. Allwyn and Jency are just perfect hosts and lovely people. Warm and caring with an open mind and genuinely interested. Jency home-made diners are full of love and delicious. The staff is also very welcoming and respectful. Their 5 sweet dogs are calm and gentile. I was staying in the room with the private pool, the pool is great, everything is decorated with a big eye for details, the garden is lovely and the room is just perfect with a great open air bathroom. The surroundings are lovely, located in a quiet street just a few meters away from the beach. A big plus are the bicycles, which are available for all guests. Marari is a great place to discover by bike. I booked three nights here but I decided to come back because after one month of traveling this was the place which I liked best. I highly recommend a stay at Marari Dreamz and hope to be back.
