We found this accomodation on booking.com and gave it a try. It was a good decision, we enjoyed our stay here. The host was very welcoming, being there at our disposal but not disturbing us. Our room was simple and big and comfortable with an attached bathroom, hot water was available. I liked that all information is given in a message after booking, with clear rules, covering everything. We know what to expect and the host is very straightforward with us. Wow, AMAZING! Very peaceful and relaxing. Lisa (host) really made us feel at home, with her kind and warm nature, not forgetting her tasty home cooked meals. Gotra beach casa is very close to the beach and the room was very comfortable and clean, in addition there were also air-conditioned rooms. We were also able to use the kitchen and eat there some days. But what we liked the most was the owner Sulfikar. He is very professional, kind and friendly. He recommended us plans, restaurants, shops and he even took us by car to some place that was far away. We wanted to rest for a couple of days somewhere near the sea and we were so comfortable that we ended up staying for a month!! now, we leave here with a new friend and a wonderful experience. PS: we also recommend his houseboat, a very cool experience to do if you come to Alappuzha😁

This was by far the most beautiful accomodation we had during our India trip and it was made even more special by Allwyn and Jency. Not to mention their five sweet dogs. The homemade dinner was among the best keralan food we had and my partner enjoyed the morning yoga session with Allwyn immensely :) If you’re looking for a place that feels both cozy and luxurious - look no further!
