We had an excellent stay at Sri Someswar Guest House. Sharmaji, the owner, along with his two sons, was extremely helpful and friendly. They guided us with a well-planned tour program, negotiated with auto-rickshaw drivers on our behalf, and even assisted with transferring our luggage from the 600m drop point. The accommodation is conveniently located near Dasashwamedh Ghat. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

This being our 1st trip to Varanasi and what a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful resort with such friendly and caring host and staff. The owner was wonderful and the place is taken care of with so much of love and attention to detail. The garden was beautiful and was set in a very serene environment. With the hustle and bustle of Varanasi it was always great to come back to the peace and tranquility. 10/10 for this place.

The staff were wonderful. Even going out of their way late in the evening to get me paracetamol - after I had a terrible headache. It was very clean.

The food I had here is the most delicious I had during 2 months traveling around India! The location is great, very close to Assi Ghat. The dorm stay is so decent and location wise, this is the best. Very closer to all the attractions. You will feel the cool breezes of ganga. The staff is also so cooperative.

The location is excellent, close to the ghats and main attractions. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was homely and fresh, and the host Mr. Vishnu Mukherjee was extremely helpful with local guidance.
