We had the most amazing stay at Ivory Coaste. It was the perfect end to our backpacking trip around India. We booked the non a/c room and it was very comfortable. All the facilities were clean, we had lots of room and had access to a balcony where you could sit and read, and look out through the trees! Ivory Coaste is about 20-30 mins from the main Kannur town/train station. It is in a beautiful area, only a few minutes walk to a secluded beach and surrounded by nature. Aparna, the lovely host, served us 3 meals a day - all traditional Kerala style - which were all delicious. It was lovely sitting down to eat, chatting with Aparna and the other guests - it made us feel like we were right at home. Aparna was an amazing host, we felt very welcome and looked after. She shared some amazing stories about life in Kerala. Don’t think twice about booking here, it will definitely be a highlight of your holiday and travel. We would love to come back one day!

We had a lovely stay for 3 days. The staff was very friendly and also the food was delicious and requests could be made. Room was clean and had a nice view to the sea. All in all a very peaceful place, we would definitely come again.

    Apurna was an excellent host for whom nothing was too much trouble. She was warm and friendly and was more than happy to give advice on good shops, restaurants etc, to call a tuk tuk and to ensure the driver knew exactly where he should take you. She really wanted all guests to have a positive experience and went out of her way to ensure this happened. The property was in a quiet location and was ideally located for two lovely and very quiet beaches.
