The room was small, but cozy, very comfortable and nice. Bathroom big, very clean. Everything is new and fresh. Check-in easy and fast. Our stay was short, but we are really happy with this choice. The apartment is in fantastic location. Close to the bus station, access from airport is super easy. Highly recommended.

Porta Picta is a fabulous little Palazzo. Its 5 rooms make it quite exclusive, and its location is enviable - right next door to the funicular and at the edge of the beautiful central shopping and eatery street through the old town. Attention to detail is impeccable. Our dog Duke was their first doggie guest - he was given a beautiful doggie bed, which he took to immediately - as well as bowls for food and water. We were given a great recommendation for a (dog friendly) restaurant, which was top class with excellent gluten free and lactose free options - showing that gluten free and lactose free don't have to be limiting in the least. Porta Picta also offered lactose and gluten free options for breakfast on request, which was much appreciated. Internal garage places for 2 cars made parking hassle free, and with the option for slow overnight EV charging. Will definitely be staying again.

Silvia was an excellent host. She gave us a Christmas gift- key ring and a candle! It was such a thoughtful gesture. The property has everything you need and even more- every day there was a fresh cake, fruits and unlimited sparkling water! I absolutely loved it. It has free parking, it’s close to the Old town and the Main Street has many cute bars. I’d definitely come back!

I stayed there for one night but I believe it should be comfortable for a longer stay as well. I chose the place due to its proximity to Bergamo train station and to the bus station for bus 1 that leads to the airport or to Citta alta. The triple room with private bathroom looks just like in the photos – clean, spacious, comfortable, with nice design touches. I didn’t use the shared dining hall as I was there for a short while, but with all the things it offers, it’s really comfortable. I’m very grateful for the salty croissants left at the table in the room – they came really handy for the early flight. Whoever chooses to visit Milano via Bergamo airport, I recommend checking out the city of Bergamo as well, as one might end up liking it more.

Villa Gaffurio exceeded all expectations with its outstanding hospitality and exceptional service. When my friend missed his flight, the owner went above and beyond to provide him with a safe place to stay, even late at night.
