Great spot, nice view from the window. Quite cheap parking just behind the residence (1,2€ per hour 8-20 everyday also Sundays). Next to the parking there is a 'basket' attraction worth attending. Super contact by whatsapp with kind and helpful lady owner, all the instructions needed we got before coming.

Everything, I loved the place from the minute i drove up to it. It looks better than the pictures, especially in the evenings. The bed is comfy, the staff, I cant really call them staff cos they are part of the place, owners, protectors almost, absolutely top class. The restaurant was the best we visited during our week stay and returned often. We highly recommend all the menu as we tried more or less everything. The garden is a dream, you just need to experience it.

The room, if a little bare, was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location is good for the centre of Umbertide. We thought that a couple of glasses could have been supplied. The coffee machine and fridge were in a shared area with another room, so that on our last morning the coffee machine was blocked with used coffee capsules.

We never got to stay here, when I made the booking I said I would arrive at 21:30 and she accepted the booking... On the day of arrival the lady running the hotel said she was closing at 20:00 And she kept our money... refused to answer my calls and WhatsApp messages requesting a refund. It is fair to say Booking.com are impossible to get hold of when something goes wrong. and I lost my money. Do not book this place unless you fit in with the owners timeframe. And Booking.com - I would like my money back please... If you would be so kind as to give details of your refund system somewhere...
