The place was spacious and clean - in a great location outside of the main town but a quick walk there. The host was very sweet and very responsive. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious and so convenient!

Wonderfully quiet location in a lovely park with private parking (there is no reception, you have to agree on your arrival time beforehand and call when you are in front of the gate - they will open it for you and provide you with a beeper and the keys). Newly renovated, very nice ambiance. Nice bathrooms. Good reading lights by the bed. If you have a room with A/C, it's blissfully quiet and not one of those noisy units. There is no breakfast service, but there is a stylish kitchen with a coffee maker, fridge, oven, microwave, etc; also there is a shared sitting room and ample space outside in the park. Lots of privacy, a bar for breakfast is just around the corner.

Massive thanks to host Daniela for a really wonderful stay in her beautiful property. She was so helpful and accommodating, even helping us book transport for a family wedding we were attending. She also speaks fantastic English for those like us who had shamefully failed to learn any Italian! The room was clean, very comfortable and well provisioned with everything you could need. Guests can also use the front garden and terrace which is great. The location was very good - about 8 minutes on foot from the main square in Lenno, and it is a quieter place to stay than many of the bigger towns in the area which made it perfect for us. The breakfast offered at La Tana is also very generous and lovely, including great coffees and fresh bread and homemade cakes.

Situated in Costa Valle Imagna, 25 km from Accademia Carrara, Residence La Canonica has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access.

Best place if you are looking for a chill stay and visiting Como lake and Bergamo. Only one hour from Varenna by car and 45 minutes to Bergamo (if you are not afraid of driving on narrow mountain roads. We loved it!) We spent a night in the double room and it was the cleanest house we have ever seen. They have a proper big Italian kitchen, well equipped to share with other guests. The views are stunning and the check in and communication with the host is incredibly easy. The pizza restaurant next to the house has some serious wines and delicious calzones.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Rooms spotless and cleaned daily. Lovely breakfast provided. The owner even drove us to the station upon check out when we couldn't get a taxi. Bus easy to catch into Lake Como but if you have luggage a car would be handy as taxis can be quite difficult to secure. Would highly recommend.for a relaxing and peaceful holiday with magnificent views and a couple of lovely restaurants about a 10 minute walk from the property.
