This is a fabulous cave hotel!!! Our room was incredible with a fabulous jacuzzi. You cannot beat the location. We looked at numerous cave hotels and decided with this one. It was just perfect! We highly recommend it.

It way a perfect stay. Like the town of Matera is out of this world, and the accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable. The host kept in touch with us before our arrival. Once we arived, he welcomed us and gave us useful advice on the tour round the town as well as which restaurants were worth visiting. The room Gas a jacuzzi, which is just awesome. And what is more, our breakfast was delivered rught in fron of our room and it could be eaten in the bed or at the table. The room is also equipped with a coffee maker and a kettle so you can make tea or coffee anytime.

What a cracker find this place and super host Amy was. We managed to stuff up our booking from the get go, but Amy was able to sort it all out for us without breaking a sweat. Not only was her place like 5-star quality, location was perfect. Short walk into the Sassi, and far enough away to feel like a local rather than a tourist. Breakfast vouchers for the quaint Cafe next door was a fabulous way to start the Matera day. Highly recommend Al Primo Vico.

Nicely renovated, it's super comfortable, practical and stylish. The space is nicely organised and we enjoyed the shower. There are paid parking spots right in front of the apartment which is convenient if there is space. The host who greeted us was nice and very punctual. It's about a 10-minute walk from the central square and about 10-minute walk from Sassi.
