Guest Houses in Mondello

It's our second time staying at Al Baglio and we loved it as much this time as the first time. It's spotless, lovely rooms, great breakfast and great location, very near to Piazza Mondello and of course, the beach. The family running Al Baglio are most helpful and very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

A well kept property with immaculate gardens and swimming pool. The staff, particularly Alessandro, were most kind and helpful.

It was a great size and perfect for our one night trip to Mondello. It was extremely hot and the air con was extremely helpful. It was our first time on Sicily and the staff were extremely helpful in helping us navigate and giving us advice on what to do.

We had a great stay at this brand-new accommodation in Palermo. Our host, Davide, is just starting out with renting, but he’s already doing everything right. He’s friendly, cheerful, and – above all – incredibly helpful. He made sure we had a safe and free parking spot, which took a big worry off our minds. All compliments to him – highly recommended!

Extremely convenient location of the apartment. Cleanliness and comfort at the highest level along with the hospitality of a charming owner. We were very pleased with living and with pleasure we will come here again.

Amazing host, beautiful appartment and balcony

The place is in the centre of Palermo near everything. It’s recently been renovated, everything is very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are spectacular and the host Antonio was the kindest soul we met during our trip!

Very clean, better than the pictures, very comfortable and central in the area and exceptionally friendly staff and host! Breakfast, AC equipped rooms (which you need after a long day in August!), a tea kettle and everything else mentioned in the stay description was included. First day, we arrived an hour earlier than expected but Giuseppe, the host, let us in, showed us our room and asked if we were happy with it. And absolutely yes we were! It was spacious and comfortable, the design very beautiful and even if our window view wasn’t scenically impressive, it still had a special something, my husband and I really liked hanging out at the French balcony, sitting and talking there. If we weren’t outside and exploring or at the beach, we were at home waiting for the weather to cool down a little and sat there for a good two hours. See the picture bellow, we really loved it! The bakery next door was where we were taking our breakfast and every bite was worth it. Italian breakfast of course isn’t what we were used to, it consists of a coffee/hot chocolate and a pastry like a croissant and the likes. But it was very delicious, I tried pastry I’ve never seen and I was in love! You can’t eat a lot of food here in Italy in general, not because it doesn’t taste but because they make you feel full in a very pleasant way after a few bites. On the last day, we thought Giuseppe came to see us off, which was sweet in itself, but he took our suitcases, put it in the trunk of his car and drove us to our station, giving us a big hug and even asked if we arrived safe at home. We’ve travelled a few places now, but no stay and its host were this accommodating, warm and welcoming. I know we will come back to Palermo and we know exactly, that we will be staying with Giuseppe and Villareale47 again!
