Guest Houses in Padova

I don't even know where to begin!!! 🤩 The hosts are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, wonderful people! They are talkative and caring. One day, a radiator in my room stopped working, and the owners were so worried about my health that they strongly encouraged me to use the conditioner (it was not that cold). During my two-week-long stay, the wonderful woman and her sons would all come to check on me from time to time, to ask about my well-being and chit-chat a little. I was alone, overwhelmed, and feeling lost in a new, very foreign country, so no words can describe how much I appreciated those little bits of socialization. They even taught me how to use an espresso machine! I've never seen one in person, so that was quite exciting 😄. The older son of the family knows basic English, which was INCREDIBLY useful to me, a person who speaks ZERO Italian. All of my flatmates got the same, nicest possible treatment. Most people just had dinners, showers, slept the night, and then were gone before late morning, but that never stopped the hosts from giving very warm welcomes. None of my flatmates EVER complained about anything (or maybe I was not curious enough, who knows 😅). Everything is VERY clean, Very new~, and the general cleanliness upkeep is quite impressive! (This is coming from a person with OCD tendencies). All the photos are completely true. I have seen all of the rooms, and every single one of them is exactly what they appear to be in the photos. All in all, a very solid 9.5/10 experience. Highly recommend! Would come here again ☺️.

Updated with modern facilities - electronic key in. Extremely comfortable beds. Classy touches like in-room robes and slippers. Great shower. SOUND PROOF!!!! We have loud boys! We slept great. The room was peaceful and quiet. Great breakfast for purchase at C20 cafe below. Close to city center to walk to St. Anthony Basilica, St. Justina Church (a must see), and Great gift shops! Great views.

This hotel was perhaps our favorite of the places we stayed on our nearly month-long trip in NE Italy. Our room was beautiful -- light-filled and spacious, very beautifully decorated. The hotel common areas on the ground floor offered pleasant spaces to hang out. Our hostess, Verbena, was a wealth of information about places to see in Padua and had been extremely helpful in giving us information about how to get to the hotel from the train station (short tram ride). Location is fantastic -- just steps away from San Antonio church (a significant site) and minutes from restaurants and many sights. Just a 15 minute walk to Scrovegni Chapel and its Giotto frescoes.

Everything: Beautiful, large, comfortable room; lovely, expansive garden; helpful, considerate staff; excellent location.

The location was great. Lovely breakfast delivered to our room and worth the additional cost and helpful and charming staff.

The host Suzi is a great woman. She makes guests feel like in their homes. I felt the place was one family apartment where everyone was happy and peaceful. They are available all the time, helpful all the time, everything is clean, rooms are nice, the place is very close to the main tourist attractions. I was not expecting to enjoy of my this short visit so much. Padova is a beautiful city it is for sure, but Casa Battisti made it unforgettable for me.

We loved it. Very luxurious and big room, very comfortable, air conditioning, easy room access, excellent easy central location, quiet street, nice building with an elevator, good communications - quick responses to requests. Tea and coffee making [kettle and coffee pod machine] are in the room. It was well worth it.
