First of all, thank you so much to the owner and the manager of Tatemachi shared house for everything! I only reserved A room for one night to be able to enjoy Gujō Odori. However, the day of the check out, due to heavy rains, the roads were closed and I couldn't go back home. Thankfully, after writing a message explaining the situation, the owner rapidly answered, saying that a room was available! The manager then helped me by checking if there were no taxis available and as there were not, he prepared the room for me! The 2 rooms I stayed in were really clean and comfortable! The bathroom was also perfect! The shared house is ideally located to enjoy Gujō! And the self check-in is really easy!

It was such a nice place that I wish I have stayed longer than 2 nights! You stay in typical Japanese house, with a very friendly owner and her lovely cats. Great place and great location.

Absolutely everything! We had an amazing time, although it was unfortunately way too short, at the guest house. Tomo is an incredible host and he directly made us feel welcome from the beginning. He's very friendly, helpful and funny and he has lots of knowledge about the area. We loved talking to him and spending time with him. The room itself was really unique, made in a traditional Japanese style, it's very interesting but also comfortable at the same time. Tomo provides lots of blankets and the bathroom is very clean as well. The location might seem a little difficult to get to, but Tomo offers to pick you up from the nearest train station. If you're coming by car, it's no problem at all and we would recommend having dinner in Mino if you're coming late. Although it's located in an enchanting small village in the mountains with lots of nature, it's still only about 15 minutes by car away from Mino (and the nearest highway exit) and also not far from Gifu and Nagoya, so it's also good if you're only staying overnight and traveling further the next day. Tomo also offers lots of activities like skiing in the winter and kayaking or SUPing in the summer, which we unfortunately couldn't experience this time, but which sounded very cool.

Everything. The bed was so comfortable and you'll get good value for your money ! Mino is a gem, unless you been there before. The bus stop is just outside the door, if you don't have your own wheels. The old couple who runs the Guesthouse is so kind and helpful. If I was to go to Mino again, this would be my choice of accommodation, every time.
