The property was in a nice location close enough to Iiyama Station. The hosts were some of the nicest people we have met and drove us to and from the station (6:30am!!). One of the comfiest places we have stayed and hope we can go back soon.

I had an excellent skiing vacation at this homestay in Nozawa Onsen. From the moment I checked in, I could feel the meticulous service. The rooms are well - equipped, and the heating is sufficient, allowing me to rest comfortably after a day of skiing. The location of the homestay is perfect, being very close to both the ski resort and the hot spring, which makes getting around extremely convenient. Moreover, the homestay provides a considerate luggage storage service, allowing me to enjoy my skiing time without any burden. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to friends who come to ski in Nozawa Onsen. It offers high cost - effectiveness and an amazing experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming pension, run by an incredibly kind and hardworking couple. Despite the heavy snowstorm disrupting transportation, they went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring we reached our destination smoothly. The warmest place we’ve stayed! Staff were really nice and everything was tidy. The room was warmed for us when we arrived and when we returned after skiing it was easy to rewarm the room!

Extremely close to the slopes and bus across to Nozawa. Miki, the host, is exceptionally lovely and helped us with all of our needs. The rooms are clean, with comfortable Japanese futons to sleep on. The heaters worked so well I had to turn them off after an hour or so. Wifi is fast and works well. I highly recommend breakfast and dinner!

Nozawaonsen is an amazing place, and the Utopia is an exceptional hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful, from restaurants recommendations to everything we needed. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location and even the in-house onsen were great. I would come again!
