This is a really nice place to stay. Owners are very sweet and make sure you have everything you need. Room is in japanese style with futon in a quiet street. It was pretty spacious. Location is great too, everything can be done by walking. I would definitely come back again.

I enjoyed my stay with the very friendly owners. Had a great meal and a nice evening together in the restaurant, meetings like this are part of what makes travelling great. Basic Japanese style room, but all perfectly clean. Great location and good value for money

I found the place great for exploring Kanazawa: you get an entire traditional Japanese house for yourself, in a quiet place despite being 20 minutes by foot from Kenroku-en garden and the castle, and at a very competitive price. It was extremely clean and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The host is absolutely lovely, and both the property, as well as the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The refrigerator has two bottles of ice cold water stocked every day, and you have the option of buying multiple types of sake directly in your room. I definitely recommend eating at the recommended sushi restaurant, as it was absolutely delicious and very cozy. I wish we booked more days :)

Really easy check in and the neighborhood is really peaceful. I walked around without a problem and visited the most famous spots and temples. Is 25 minutes by walking from the train station, there’s also bus stops really close to. I will definitely stay again if I visit again the city.

Amazing experience in snowy Kanazawa. My stay was wonderful, very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I tasted a real japanese meal. Amazing position on the riverside near a picturesque bridge with the mountains in the background. The staff was super cute, also, we had nice chat!

Right from the moment of arrival the staff were nice and welcoming, reflecting the cozy atmosphere of the hostel. It's location is excellent - at a quiet neighborhood right besides the kanzawa station, within a walking distance between all the tourist attractions and shopping streets. Albeit being a small house, the common area is packed with a lot of anemnities like free soft drinks, towels, kitchen, Manga selection (English and Japanese), washing machine, clean bathroom and shower, and information about kanazawa. The atmosphere at the hostel itself was nice with friendly people. Do note, this is a hostel. Small rooms (yet comfortable), shared facilities, shared common area, and do expect to hear people speaking in the public area in the evening.

A recently renovated guest house located in Kanazawa, 町宿ニシノヤ features an open-air bath. A sauna is available for guests.
