Host is very friendly and welcoming. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom/toilet are also very clean. Host cooked me a good breakfast. And the co-host, GAO was the highlight!

This was a spacious,very well appointed accommodation in a central, quiet location , with especially helpful and kind owners. My departure was delayed by heavy rainfall but the owner insisted I take an umbrella.

My group of four adults really enjoyed our time at Guest House Ui-ca. The house is adorable and we enjoyed experiencing a day in the life of traditional Japanese housing. Yumiko was a wonderful host. She responded quickly to messages and we knew she was nearby in case anything came up during our stay.

The place had a super nice, kinda traditional Japanese vibe. It's very clean and comes with pretty much everything you could need. Location wise, it's amazing. Basically, a couple minutes on foot from Higashiyama. Kenroku-en is also very close. I really liked staying there.
