Very nice & heathly cafe within the hotel. The staff was very nice and we could rent bikes for the day. Amazing design, very clean and neat hotel !

Breakfast adapted to my wishes (asked by host), every need fulfilled in the room (air conditionning, tv, wifi, kettle, mirror, hair dryer, fridge with mineral water, ...), well situated in an historical area (a shrine < 500m) but not far from animated eara (Pontocho - 2 metro stations or 25 min by foot), very warm welcoming people, ... Really, nothing wrong!

The hotel is located to the south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace and is very close to the subway station. The rooms are spacious and feature a classic Japanese-style bathroom. With four beds, it is perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together. The hotel's front desk staff are very friendly and can store luggage for guests. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Everyone working at the guesthouse were so friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse had such a homely feeling and felt like a traditional Japanese household. Everything was also very clean

This was a really sweet property, it felt special to be able to stay in a more “authentic” property and the location was also great for what we wanted to do in Kyoto. It was clean and well appointed, we really enjoyed our stay!

The beds were furnished with a mirror, shelves, clothing rack and a foldable table. These were very useful. The bathroom is also connected with the bedroom (which is different to a lot of other dorm style accommodation I've been to that have a bathroom shared among all people) so it was easily accessible and only the people in the dorm could access it. The free washing machine was also a bonus. Everything was also very clean. Jun-san was also super helpful and always readily available if you had any questions!
