This was a very pleasant place to stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and had a heating pad for the back. Good Japanese breakfast. Great area to reach most of the attractions, but not too crowded with tourists.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable place. The hosts always made sure we had mineral water in our room, and new towels everyday, even if we never asked for it.

Haruka was an awesome host. She looked after us every day making sure we had everything we needed. She was very kind and helped me when I needed to see a doctor. This place is the best place to stay in Kyoto. Haruka and her husband were very kind.

The hotel is located to the south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace and is very close to the subway station. The rooms are spacious and feature a classic Japanese-style bathroom. With four beds, it is perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together. The hotel's front desk staff are very friendly and can store luggage for guests. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Incredible location, right around the corner from the market and walkable to all the temples. Quiet and friendly hostel, very helpful hosts.

Everything was clean and very nice Only minus is that the hostel is quite far away. It doesent look like it, but its like 1 hour by bus to bamboo forest or thousend torris The check in process was little bit long and tiring. Also there are two buildings! One where you sleep and second one when the zen garden is . Its like 5 min walk away from each other Everything else 10/10

Everything was perfect… Morio and Yoshiko were both really welcoming and generous. They gave us cakes for Christmas and drove us to the station, which was such a big help. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. There was a very cozy heated table that we absolutely loved. The breakfast was incredible. Different menu every day which gave us the opportunity to try out different food.
