Exceeded my expectation of a guest house. The common rooms are spacious with a kitchen bar and working area with monitors for those who wish to work. The onsen is a big plus specially the open onsen. Bed is spacious. The place is so homey with the fireplace and spacious common rooms . Highly recommended. Will definitely come back for Norikura and stay here again

This property had everything, a kitchen to cook, board games. It was a walk away from Matsumoto station but i didn’t mind make the walk. I loved Matsumoto and this place was so comfortable

Amazing guesthouse in a wonderful location. The rooms have a specific style reminiscent of old Japanese style. First time sleeping on a tatami, it feels like in a movie. There's also a little Onsen included for 300¥ extra. It's a great accommodation after returning from a day hiking in Kamikochi. The personnel are very kind and do their best to accommodate any request. Mind that it's a small mountain village at the gate of a national park, so plan your timetable wisely.

Staying at this place made my life at that moment felt so surreal. This place and its surrounding is beyond beautiful! Its secluded location, near the forest, and there were even deers, the nicely designed room with traditional ambience yet and breathtaking view, everything was so perfect! Nishida-san delivered exceptional service. He prepared breakfast every morning, picked me up and dropped me off at the Bessho train station whenever I need without additional charge. I'll be back for sure! This place is idyllic and a perfect place to experience some solitude.

It was amazing, in a perfect location right in the heart of the hip, tourist area of Matsumoto, with excellent facilities and a great chill lounge. The owners were super friendly and run a café/bar downstairs. Plus, there is free (real, high quality) coffee available all the time.
