Excellent location just next to the Open Air Museum. The public space is tastefully decorated, I had some good white wine in the bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving me advice where to go in Hakone.

Friendly and helpful staff, a beautiful property with super comfy dorms! I slept so well and I loved how peaceful it was. It was such a lovely break from the cities in Japan, hiking nearby was really fantastic and I liked the onsens too.

It feels incredibly authentic. For anyone staying here, I'd just say trust the process, the host is the sweetest little old man who hosts really fun karaoke evenings. It wasn't what we expected going into it but this place gave us some great laughs and memories for life.

Such a unique place. Enjoyed finally having some comfy couches to relax in! Very well fitted out with absolutely everything you could need. Centrally located to all the sights. This would be a great place for a group of people as there is so much seating and even two kitchens. Highly recommend.
