Amazing rooms and location. The kayaking is alot of fun and I definitely recommend you doing it. The views of the neighbourhood is breath taking. There are some restaurants and shops nearby.

If you are travelling around Shikoku island, please make sure to stop at this place. We consider it as a hidden gem of our journey due to the accommodation, very helpful and nice father-son duo and things you can do and visit in a vicinity. It is a perfect location for 1-2 day stay. What we really appreciated was traditional house setting. You can sleep either on tatami beds or western beds. We chose tatami as we were looking forward to this experience. We were not disappointed at all. The whole house is very spacious with a beautiful front garden, and the bathroom is fully equipped with all amenities. There is also a common space downstairs. Wifi is very strong and rooms have AC. Family mart is a 5 minute walking distance from accommodation. I would recommend this accommodation for travellers who are looking to experience something traditional. Adding a few photos from our trip in Kan-onji. We had a great time 🤩.

Excellent, sparkling clean accommodation with a spacious bedroom and pleasant balcony space attached to the bedroom. Good shared kitchen, dining room and bathroom facilities. We were lucky to have no fellow guests for the first two nights of our three night stay, and never had an issue with queueine to use the bathroom. Friendly host with some spoken English, who was very generous with her time in making recommendations to us and offering travel advice. Super quiet, amazing location right in the middle of small farm plots. Would definitely stay again.

My stay here was excellent! The organization and preparation were top-notch, and the welcome upon arrival was warm. The stuff were very helpful and courteous from the start, truly wonderful. The house is truly impressive and spacious, and impeccably clean. I will definitely return and highly recommend this accommodation.

Great New Guesthouse with clean minimalistic Design which has everything you will need. The Owner is very friendly and can speak English very well and will gladly help you out. It is close to Toyohama Station and there is a Busstop which can bring you closer to Mt. Unpenji T66 if you want to go up by Ropeway or by foot.

A traditional Japanese house that sat empty for years was bought by the neighbour and he and his son remodelled as a guest house. It still has the wood fire oven and traditional rooms but is brought up to date with A/C in individual rooms and wifi. The house is very secure with a coded front door lock and individual key room locks. I cycled around the neighbourhood, it was so lovely. I didnt bring any dinner so Yano-san, 85, took me to his recommended Udon Shop for the feed of a lifetime (see photos). No fuss, just being nice. The kitchen and bathroom are brought up to date with all the mod-cons. I’d stay again.
