The host is very welcoming. It's a pleasure to talk to him, ask him about your plans or ask him to book a restaurant or call remote onsen. He recommended us the best restaurant for dinner we have ever had in Japan. It's just a 10-minute walk. What a treat. The room is in an older house, which is the traditional Japanese house. You share a bathroom and toilet with other guests (max 4 people share this, so that is fine). The room is great, spacious, and the air conditioning works superb. We came by car, but the host is willing to pick you up and drive you to your next destination. The host speaks English very well. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Attentive host with excellent recommendations for food and hiking. The location is not central but close to a station that can bring you to Niko quickly. The value was excellent.

The Landlady was very nice and helpful Used her app to translate to English so that we could understand her better. Provided us with a sumptuous breakfast Room had a heating mat and good aircon. Location was central, located relatively close to the train station. There is a 7-11 and ENOS (petrol kiosk) located approximately 1minute walk away from accoms. Carpark available. Approximately 2mins drive from the nearby attractions, ~4mins drive from the Red bridge, the Toshogu Shrine. Please note that toilets are shared. There are two toilets. One on the second floor, one on the first floor. There is a bathroom on the first floor.

Very pleasant night. The owner of the accommodation takes care of every detail, from your welcome with recommendations on what to visit in the area to a very good and complete breakfast in the morning completely free of charge. The room is very comfortable, futon on tatami, and there are two bathrooms to share with the other guests. You also have the possibility to leave your luggage in the accommodation before and after check-in and check-out. Highly recommended.

it was super close to everything. it was clean, super cozy, and had a very pretty Japanese style. The hosts where some of the nicest people we have ever met met. They made staying at the stay house an experience in itself. we would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Nikko.

The hosts are both amazing!! Very friendly and eager to help us with everything we needed. We had not chosen to have diner there (bad decision because I believe it must have been amazing) and they suggested to make a reservation for us at an excellent restaurant nearby. The breakfast was served in a very cosy and homey feeling living room and it was a classical western style with eggs, bagels etc which was exceptional! I have nothing but wonderful words to say about this experience. Totally recommended! I would like to revisit and spend more time there. Thank you for everything

About a 20-minute walk from the Nikko shrines, Annex Turtle Hotori-An is situated next to the Daiya river and green forests. It features hot spring baths with river views.

Very nice traditional Japanese inn, with everything you need and we loved the flowing streams out of the window. Really nice onsen as well!!

Very typical Japanese house at a very nice neighbourhood, it’s peaceful and beautiful. We had a car so it was very easy to move around Nikko
