The place is clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing. The location was a major factor in my decision to stay, as it’s quite central to a couple of beaches and other touristic spots (e.g., ryugu and perry road). I had a great time at Sora house. In this very hot weekday-end, the lobby and bedroom were at the perfect temperature. The lady of the house was very kind and helpful, she gave me great recommendation for the restaurant. The breakfast was generous and at a very affordable price. Since I was alone in the room, it was very quiet. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back !

    Shimoda is a really cool town, I loved it, and I think if it hadn’t been for the location and the value of TOMI’s place, then I might not have stayed for the full three nights. I was able to rent a bike for two days very cheaply from TOMI, and the beds were very comfortable and the dorm was quiet. Loads and loads to do in the area!

    Quiet location with a beautiful view. Mr. Yamamoto is an exceptional host. He was simply lovely; he speaks English, incredibly kind, and made everything effortless for us. The pension is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is a 7-11 at the beach, so it was quite convenient. We took the bus from Shimoda station with no difficulty. It was a great stay.
