The guest house was large and had everything you would need. Had a great traditional feel to it. We loved it. It was perfect for visiting Takachiho gorge the next morning. Great location - walking distance to Takachiho bus terminal, taxi and local train station, tourist association, shops, restaurants, Takachiho Gorge, shrines and tourist attractions. 2. Clean and comfortable futon beds on tatami mat. Spacious room good for 2 pax. 3. Friendly guesthouse owner. 4. Free coffee and tea bags. 5. No cooking facilities but can heat up food with microwave oven provided next to reception counter. 6.
