Guesthouse is very cosy, only 5 rooms a bit outside the city (you can reach by tuc tuc on 2mins or 15 by foot). Room is well equipped. I apperciate sustainable approach and what's the most important delicious food prepared, served at the highest level. Fully recommend🙂

Absolute cleanliness and silence. Great beds and mattresses on which we slept like in a fairy tale. This is the best place to stay in Kampot. The street with cafes is only 500 meters away.

Quiet area. Filtered water available so I didn't have to purchase bottled water. Room was cleaned when requested as I informed host I did not need my room cleaned daily. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Host arranged transport to Kep for me. He also booked an appointment with his dentist and helped with finding a pharmacy so I could purchase medication. He arranged several tuk tuk rides for me. It was only approx $3 RT for short rides to go into town for the night market and meals - it was too hot for me to walk that far. Gin & Tonics there were only $2!

Monika is the best! We stayed almost 6 nights at Retro Guesthouse and we enjoyed it a lot! When we arrived there, Monika and her team welcomed us very well. We always got water, fruits and some biscuits for free. You can rent kajaks, bicycles and scooters at this place, what makes it so easy to do some trips on your own. At the first day Monika showed us some places, where we can get some food und took us to a place for sunset. She was so helpful and always there, if we needed something. Not to forget: The food in the restaurant is so delicious. We took the Curry so many times, because we loved it. The ingredients are always fresh and the preparation was made with love. Thanks to Monikas sister! The Retro Guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay, we will come back. Thank you for everything! Anna and Johanna

We don't plan to go to Kampot, but it happened when we felt bored at home after workdays. We decided to stay at Kampot Origin Guesthouse because it's not far from the center, has an affordable price, and is very clean, especially their beddings. The staff who attended to us were very accommodating. Hopefully, next week we will still be staying at this guesthouse.

Our family of 18 stayed during khmer new year and it was great !! Location was excellent , 2 minute walk to the market , riverside , durian etc.. and no noisy neighbours.Mart just round the corner. Owner staff were really friendly and happy to help, also facilitated scooter rental. -Strong AC and Hot shower with good water pressure. -20 liter bottle of water in the room, fridge/freezer ,cups,plates , kettle coffee and BIG MUGS for morning cofee 👍👍👍👍 -plenty of outdoor space , garden , seating and safe moto parking. Great place for families, couples or solo travellers. Will definitely recommend and stay again 👍👍👍
