Fantastic location in Haeundae. Close to the beach, street food market and restaurants and shopping. 5 min walk from the subway. Rooms very comfortable with great silent aircon, nice beds and pillows as well as a small fridge. The owner, Steven, was so helpful and nice throughout the stay and I will recommend everyone to book their stay here if you want a budget option that exeeds expectations.

I had a very comfortable stay at Ara Guesthouse. The self check-in instructions were sent to me in advance through Booking, which made arrival smooth and easy. The guesthouse is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood—no matter what time I was outside, I always felt secure. Convenience stores like CU and GS25, as well as local restaurants, are nearby. The train station is about a 10 min walk, and there’s a direct connection to the airport that takes around 25 minutes. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Whenever I needed assistance, they were always available. I especially appreciated that when I needed to do laundry, they washed my clothes themselves and delivered them to my room in the evening. The room itself had everything I needed: a private bathroom with toiletries, air conditioning, a fridge, hangers, and a very clean, comfortable bed. Everything was spotless. In the evenings, if you’re looking for something to do, you can just cross the street from the train station and find lively spots with live music, nice restaurants, and a vibrant atmosphere. Probably the most comfortable hostel I’ve stayed at in my 5 months in Asia so far, and definitely the best I came across by in South Korea. Very comfortable spacious bed in bedbox provided with light, 2 charging points and room to put your stuff. The room has a window so fresh air can come in which helps a lot to keep the room smelling fresh in comparison to many hostels I’ve stayed at. Also perfect for if you get hot easily when sleeping (which was the case in every other place I stayed at in my month in Korea as they all still had heating on). If you get cold easily no need to worry either as there’s a heatblanket provided. The bathroom is spacious and very clean, in fact the entire hostel is super clean at all times. The host is very welcoming and making sure you’re having an enjoyable stay. The breakfast which you can order is delicious, especially the homemade part. There’s a laundry service provided (which was the cheapest I’ve had in the past months). I’d definitely stay again.

The best guest house I have ever visited! The owner is very friendly and he helped us with many things during our stay. We have also tried his bread every morning and it was delicious! Definitely a recommended place.

Such a lovely vintage house in the middle of a Korean traditional market. I love all the little touch that the owner gives to her property, like the cute mirrors, flowery blankets, and colorful pictures. I also love the location and all the fresh kimchi smell when walking down the aisles. I didn’t know how to turn on the hot water so the owner actually came over at 11.30pm just to support. She doesn’t speak English but tried so hard to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

The reception of course is exceptional. The site is so so so convenient, just like the vlogger said it. I can't thank enough to the girl at reception on 12th night who helped me whole night to find a cab for the airport as I had my bump and actually found me a ride. Definitely my choice for future trip.

The hostel is close to everything in the area, so much places to visit and sites to see. When arriving, we showed up a little bit early but was able to check in early. The host was very lovely and helped carried our luggage to our room. There was more than enough space for two people in the room we were in. Loved it overall.
