The property is accessible to nearby bus stations and almost 15-20-minutes away from Jeju Intl Airport. There’s a lot of local restaurants, marts, cafes and pharmacies nearby. Dongmun market is also 15 minutes away from the Brick. The room where I stayed in is on the 3rd Floor, it’s also where the reception is located. Just note that there’s no elevator going up so if you have a lot of luggages, expect to take some flight of stairs. I personally like the common/dining area on the 3rd floor. I’m also familiar and love their music playlist while having my DIY breakfast in the morning. :) I have never met the owner personally but they were kind and thoughtful, they check on me every now and then if my stay is comfortable and suggest also to try out some nearby places. :) I also recommend trying the jokbal (boiled pork leg) place on the 1st floor of the property, their food is really good and the owners are kind too! :)

Wonderful little stay in Jeju city! Room was comfy and had all the amenities you need, bathrooms were clean and the first floor cafe / workspace / kitchen was so lovely. Owner was so friendly and helpful. The location is near lots of shops, cafes and restaurants, and 5 mins from bus stops that take you around the island or to the airport.

Very clean and comfortable room, good breakfast with tasty coffee! Guesthouse is 10-15 minutes from the beach and different stores/restaurants near the sea. And: super-kind and helpful hostess. She helped us with early morning taxi booking to the airport and was very friendly during our stay.

I stayed here for a night on my around-the island-jeju olle walk. Sparkling clean, top facilities, nice lay out and lovely kitchen and garden. Owner very friendly.

Very nice location, located on one of the most famous roads, the rainbow road, in front of the sea so you know the view is amazing. There are a lot of shops and cafes around the area. The staff was amazing and were always willing to help or suggest places to go for sightseeing or eating. They were very respectful in keeping the quiet time schedule with the customer's rest in mind. They have cleaning time daily and there are enoughy toilets and showers so you wouldn't have to wait for your turn. All in all definitely recommend it.

Our stay at Ganderak Guesthouse made our visit to Jeju Island so special. Vincent and his wife were super kind and welcoming and were always around to help. They run a cosy, dreamy book cafe on site and it is one of the nicest spots for a drink or a coffee, a hidden gem on Jeju! The accommodation itself was comfy and felt very homely. All the rooms were clean and the facilities were in good condition. The shared bathroom had a great shower with hot water and good water pressure. Fridge space available in the cute kitchen area to keep any food or drinks. Breakfast in the cafe was delicious with fresh fruit, toast and homemade jam and egg and bacon and juice or coffee. Location is also perfect for exploring the island as we visited Seogwipo and hiked Mount Hallasan and was able to get buses to and from the Gwaneumsa and Seongpanak trails. Bus stop is close by and there are two convenience stores right next door to the guesthouse. Even better, we arrived at night and it wasn’t until morning that we realized that we were on a street lined with beautiful cherry blossoms! Very lucky to have arrived in time for the blossoming season. I felt very taken care of at Ganderak Guesthouse and enjoyed everything about this place. I miss it already and wish I could have stayed longer!
