The location is cental the everything you need is within walking distance. I could reserve some tours with them, and they were fine. I left my stuff overnight there when I joined jungle tour and took it back the next day for free and safe Comfy bed, warm water, good A/C, balcony and spacious rooms. Even a hairdryer, a small fridge and laundry service available at the lobby.

Ana is so lovely! The room is so big, the view so great, the breakfast so rich. There is also a pool. Vang Vieng has a wonderful landscape, but a bit too touristic.

A great and clean guesthouse with a pool in the middle of everything. Anna in the reception is a fantastic and friendly person who makes you feel very welcome and help you with everything from recommending restaurants to book tours, fix the laundry etc. Highly recommended guesthouse / hostel.

Dokphut is a very quiet guesthouse in town but centrally situated, near Namsong River and mountains. The room we reserved on the third floor with nice view, clean and tidy. Breakfast was also good with optional menu Staff and hosts were kind and friendly Definitely return

It is a small guesthouse in town, very cozy and friendly place run by a very kind owner. He was helpful and took care of my stay, arranged anything needed for my trip in Vang Vieng. Cheap room with basically equipped amenities and free breakfast Good location

This guesthouse is runned by the sweetest family! They are always available and with a smile, no question was too hard, no request was too tricky. Right next to all the restaurants and bars, but quiet in the evening. The room was quite big, the bed comfortable, the linen clean and with a fresh smell. The water pressure was perfect and the wifi works fine. The view from the top floor in the morning is glorious with the hot air balloons flying over the city. We booked a scooter, which worked fine, arrived on time and was the smoothest rental we had in Laos so far. They also booked our transportation to Vientiane. We would go back without a doubt if in Vang Vieng.

Staying at Sunset Nam Ngum resort was a through and through wonderful experience. With two days left on our Laos trip, before heading on to Vietnam it was just the perfect getaway into nature. The lake is so peaceful and you can just sit on your porch the whole day and relax and watch the small boats go by. The cottage is beautiful, overlooking the lake and very private. The resort has up to 7 cottages - so it can never get crowded. The restaurant in the centre is a place where you can meet the other guests or just chill. The menu doesn’t have a huge variety, but everything we had was good. If you plan on staying for a few days, maybe get yourself some snacks, as the town and market are not so close and best reached by kayak ( which is provided to you free of cost) The family is very friendly, they leave you to yourself and spread a very chilled out and calm vibe . All in all a great experience of a getaway into a beautiful natural scenery, a place to calm down and rejuvenate, especially if you are travelling for a while !
