The family is very friendly and making you feel at home. We had a great time experiencing Anuradhapura but also the local habits. We cooked together with Gihan and his wife (including shopping for groceries), he drove us around the city to do sightseeing and he helped us with booking a driver for a safari at Wilpattu and made sure we got there. They even made sure we had some breakfast to take with us. All food was very good and value for money! Definitely recommend to stay here.

The homestay was just like being at home so comfortable shared lounge and kitchen bonus we were there all by ourselves perfect, the family were so lovely food was awesome. We rented a tuktuk and went into the local town and spent time with the locals it was amazing we were the only tourists around recommend. Don't hesitate to stay here the family also did our laundry

We enjoyed our time at Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest. They are located right off of Kubichchankulama Lake with a walking path around the lake. The Hosts were very hospitable and gracious. The room was spacious and clean - good AC! They gave us access to a kettle in the kitchen for morning coffee.

Amazing place. Great service, the family is so kind and really does everything to make your stay the best it could be. They helped me with arranging a reliable and friendly driver to get from the airport to the guest house, and we stopped multiple times so I could try local fruits, so sweet. The son of the household showed me around Mihintale, and the parents provided a lovely meal every morning and evening at my requested time - absolutely amazing food that will keep you going for days haha! The room was very nice and clean. I was looking for something a bit more fancy, and definitely got what I was looking for and for a great price. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft sheets and a nice bathroom. Environment is super calm and great if you're looking for some peace and quiet. Peacocks, chameleons and beautiful butterflies all around, you can spot everything from the comfort of your breakfast table. Honestly couldn't think of any improvements!

We were the first guests because it is really new. The owner is really friendly and helped us to make the tour of Anuradhapura old city and Mihintale mountain for a fair price. It has comfortable beds. Pillows are new. We were so comfortable there. The bathroom is also very clean and neat. They dropped us to the next destination for a reasonable price.
