The owner and his wife were very kind and enthusiastic to receive us, meet our requests and make our stay enjoyable. The location, the cleanliness, the quietness, the facilities, the garden, the swimming pool, the speed of CHECK-IN and the owner has a charming magic hands in preparing the food. We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

This was a really lovely Homestay. Very clean and comfortable and an excellent location so near to the train station. The family ( Mother and two sons) were so kind and helpful. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious. We were in Sri Lanka for nearly a month, and this was our favourite accomodation. If you are in Bentota, the Welcome Family Guesthouse is to be recommended.

We loved everything about the property, right from the check in, to check out.. the family who is running the property are exceptionally sweet and helpful. Food is so delicious and the rooms and facilities are mind blowing. It was like home away from home. Haven’t been so comfortable on any trip as much as we were at happy man village. The hosts are very nice and committed towards hospitality. The property was stunning, nestled near nature, rich in heritage, and featuring retrofitting. Wonderful host, incredibly kind people, and very considerate. Srilankan breakfast was the star. loved the food, taste, hygiene.
