The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. The location was lovely, a bit outside the city, up in the mountains. The view was spectacular, where you could enjoy nice fresh breakfast made by the staff. Laka, our host was very nice and friendly and didn’t hesitate to drive us anywhere, he also made sure, that we got a car to our next destination. Big up Sri Lanka !

We had a very pleasant stay at the Eminence hotel! The room is very clean with enough space. The view is also very nice, you can see the train tracks from your window. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station and city centre of Ella. The host is very friendly and helpful, they also did our laundry. We think it was a great value for our money and we would definitely recommend staying here.

The stay was great. The room was nice and clean. The service was of a high standard, the owners did their best to fulfill all our wishes. Best breakfast in Sri Lanka, lots of varieties and delicious food. It's a bit further away from town but the owners can order Tuk Tuk at a good price. Perfect place to start our trek to Ella Rock. When you like a place in nature this is the place for you. The view from the room is great. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Everything, like Everything is perfect, especially the fact that it is quiet at night (no dogs barking, club sounds, religious broadcasts). And the climb up and down to town is not as exhausting as some other places. There are many thoughtful details in the room and service and best of all is the private veranda with the great views.
