The room was very clean and comfortable so we felt it like home from the first time. Hosts were very friendly and kind and they did their best for us, especially their daughter who speaks very good English and she helped us even with the informations we needed about our transportation. We have to mention also that they made for us a special breakfast from Sri Lanka that we wanted to try. We highly recommend this hotel for vacations!

That was probably our favourite spot during our stay on the island. We were supposed to head to the central regions, but due to the weather situation in the mountains, returned for two more nights after our initial three. The place has the best atmosphere, right by the seafront and Indika was a super kind, welcoming and helpful host, along with his lovely family and of course dear Shadow. The food was really delicious and as for the waiting times mentioned by some below, it was more of a catch-of-the-day situation (husband really loved the chance to fish on the beach himself, also!), so that can really be expected and is absolutely worth it.

We felt like home at Aroshina and her family’s beautiful home. The house is located in a nice and quiet area about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to the fort. Aroshina colourfully decorated the house with lots of love and we really liked all the beautiful exotic flowers and plants. The rooms including separate bathrooms are very well equipped (cupboards, hangers for clothes, table, chairs, van) and super clean. Dinner (on demand) and breakfast was just extraordinary! We can only warmly recommend this accomodation and would come back at any time! Thank you dear Aroshina for making us feel that comfortable!

If you want an authentic Sri Lankan experience, this is the place for you! Hosts are warm and very attractive, ready to share some stories with you! Tasty and abundant breakfast cooked on the spot, with a possibility to have dinner too, which is also very convenient! Room is basic, but has everything you need, there is a shared terrace where you can relax. I highly recommend this place as an alternative to escape Galle noise and crowds. I immediately felt warm from the first moment when the hosts welcomed me with their utmost friendliness. They helped me with everything with kindness and gave me an extremely peaceful space. The room I stayed in was very large, oversized bed, clean and comfortable bathroom. Their house is also superconvenient for going to the beach, restaurants, shops, taking the bus to other places and has a nice view. I also especially love their meals, which are very very yummy. I was really nostalgic when I left here. I am deeply grateful everything they did for me and will come back to stay for a long time next time.
