Amazing breakfast, different each morning & they took the time & explained the local food to us. Location right in the middle of the old fort, easy access & walking to everything. Room size was large & bathroom very big. Decor lovely, even had our own private breakfast patio amongst the garden. Monkeys in the trees above. Definitely would stay again & not hesitate to recommend. Staff beautiful helpful people.

Everything! This hotel is an oasis in the heart of Galle Fort. It is absolutely beautiful with antiques and art throughout whilst also feeling very homely and comfortable. It was our last stop on a three week trip and definitely the highlight in terms of accommodation. The pool is perfect for a dip and is surrounded by greenery to keep it cool in the heat of the day. Next to the pool is a beautiful covered area with comfy seating to lounge on when you need a break from Galle Fort and the heat. This is also where breakfast is served at a communal table meaning you often get to meet other guests and share travel stories- everyone we met was lovely! Only 4 rooms so a max of 8 people in total. The rooms are not huge but big enough and a very comfortable bed and again decorated beautifully. The staff are so accommodating. We arrived early and they held our bags and allowed an early check in and also allowed us to stay late on our last day as we had a late flight. Location is perfect. One street back from Peddlars and close to everything. Very safe and friendly area. Today they brought out some bread so we could feed the monkeys in the courtyard trees and they came and ate from our hands! Breakfast was delicious and fantastic service.
