My friend and I stayed here for one night and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Ajith, our host, was unbelievably helpful and kind. We had just made a shady experience with a tuk tuk driver and Ajith helped us get out of the situation and organised a new transport for us. He made us feel so safe and his breakfasts are phenomenal. The bedroom is clean, has AC, hot water - literally anything you need.

Bihara and his family are super friendly hosts. They did everything that we felt comfortable. Bihara was always reachable via Whatsapp and answered quickly if we had questions. The room was great, big with a comfy bed, great working AC, even hot shower and a big table with chair. Perfect for people like us who had to work. It has a kettle and free coffee and tea in the room as well as in the kitchen. There is a separate kitchen just for the guests. The living room is huge and has very big tables where you eat breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and we got every morning something different. Another plus is the fast internet connection (fibre optic), which we appreciated because of working. There was also a dedicated parking space for our own TukTuk.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! In terms of location and being right on the beach, you can't ask for more, we loved it. The room was exceptionally clean and we really appreciated having a little fridge too, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very tasty, and Saman and his family looked after us during our stay. We have stayed in seven different places so far whilst in Sri Lanka, and this one is in our top two. This is the best place I have stayed in Sri Lanka and possibly in the world. What a hidden gem!! The location is absolutely stunning, right on the beach facing directly west with the most amazing sunsets every night. The staff are incredible, it’s a super welcoming family business run by Indika and as a solo female traveller I really appreciated the personal touches and time they took to sit with me and chat. I had everything I needed and more. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The family was really frendly. The owner took the time to drive is to the town to bye some srilankan spises and gifts. She made us srilankan tea and really tasty meals. We also took cooking class which was very fun for the whole family. The place is really nice decorated and the best bed. The room was climated and we could use the kitchen. We would come again and they have our recommendation.

I really loved the family that did their best for me every morning and made a vegan breakfast specially for me. It was a big room with a fan which was perfect at night. They've been very kind and I've had the feeling of home for the 3 nights I spend here. And the chameleons that I saw during breakfast where a very pleasant surprise. Thank you for everything!

Very central, big room they provided us with a cot. The A/C was so good we had to occasionally turn it off. Staff was lovely and kind. Would definitely stay here again
