The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. I had the best time at Visu Villa. The staff is super helpful and knowlegable about the area and all things to see and do. The food was great and in the evenings we would sit and talk or hear some music from Mr. Dhilip. I would highly recommend. Big thank you to Ruwan and all his amazing staff!

We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.

Place was Amazing .Entire villa only for us.They have only 2 rooms.But if you book Entire villa only for you. They have cooking facilities as well. Mr Asanka had done grate jobs and always attentive.

Heaven habarana– A Peaceful Stay Near Nature I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heaven Habarana during my visit to sigiriya,Dambulla polonnaruwa, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located in a serene area, perfect for nature lovers, and is a short distance from the minneriya National Park, making it an ideal stop for safari-goers. Room & Comfort: The rooms at heven habarana were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The modern amenities provided, such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi, added to the convenience and comfort of my stay. The bathroom was equally clean, with hot water available at all times. Service: The staff at Heven were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment I checked in, they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Their hospitality was top-notch, and they even helped arrange a safari tour for me, which was a highlight of my trip. Facilities & Dining: The hotel offers a lovely outdoor dining area with a great view of the surrounding greenery. The food was delicious, with a variety of local Sri Lankan dishes on the menu, along with some international options. The breakfast spread was simple but satisfying, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and Sri Lankan rice and curry. Location: Heaven location is habarana another big plus. It's tucked away in a peaceful area, yet close enough to the main attractions, including minneriya kaudulla National Parks. It’s perfect for a quiet retreat while still being within reach of all the exciting wildlife and nature experiences in the area. Overall Experience: My stay at Heaven habarana was truly a delightful experience. The combination of excellent service, comfortable rooms, great food, and proximity to nature made it an unforgettable stop on my Sri Lankan adventure.

Sunanda was a super friendly host. The place is very calm, behind his spice & herb garden and right next to the jungle. There are a lot of Birds and Butterflies, sometimes Giant Squirrels and Monkeys but no dangerous animals. The rooms are simple but comfortable and there are moskito nets. Sunanda gave us a lot of tips and arranged a few activities for us without ever being pushy. We went on a Safari to the national Park and on Pidurangala Rock and really enjoyed those trips.

I enjoyed my stay in this cottage so much that I decided to stay two nights more. Dilani is a very good host, checking regularly if you are OK. You can use the swimmingpool across the lane for free. But for $7 or LKR2000 you can also use the swimmingpool of the nearby walking distance Habarana Village hotel by Cinnamon. This is a large pool with comfy beds, mattress and big towel at the lakeside. The second twin cottage is now also operational. Dilani organised my taxi back to Colombo for a good price.

Tastefully decorated. Spacious. Pool. Nice garden. Great, helpful staff. Convenient location. Hot water with good pressure.
