The owners are so nice, we enjoyed our stay and can totally recommend this guesthouse. Really comfi and nice room with outdoor bathroom. Jungle feeling, especially in the morning when the monkeys set up there playground around the guest house. Really close to beach and sunset bar!

Very nice, brand new hotel for reasonable price. Clean, not bad wifi, owner is also very nice and helpfull guy. Location is calm, walking distance to the beach and other activities. We even extended our stay for couple more nights and would gladly come back.

We took the upper apartment, which was very comfortable and had a lovely balcony. We came as a family for a surfing vacation. The guesthouse is very convenient for surfers – there’s space for surfboards, it’s very close to the beach yet still in a relatively quiet spot. Breakfasts are varied and excellent, and most importantly, the place is stunning – the garden is beautiful and inviting, perfect for relaxing. Professional yoga classes are also offered. In short – we highly recommend it!

I originally booked for one night and ended up staying for seven! That’s how lovely my time at Mango Hiriketiya was. The room is spacious, the bed is comfy, and the ceiling fan is just right (I even felt cold some nights, which was perfect if you like sleeping with a sheet). The best part of the house is the family, super warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind. They greet you with a juice on arrival, serve a simple and delicious breakfast every morning, and sometimes offer a snack or tea in the afternoon. I was lucky to be there during Poya Day and they even invited me to join them for the local parade. The communication with them is also top! The room is upstairs with a private entrance, and there’s a kitchen available for basic cooking and a dining table. They helped me with my laundry as well. It’s located close to the main road and a short walk to the beach. I enjoy walking, so for me, the location was perfect.

The location was fantastic and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming - they made us some juice and gave us some fruits when we arrived. The room was very spacious and the fan kept us cool overnight.

Beautiful spot. Area the house is in is currently being built but no noise at all from construction. Lovely family who own the place and go above and beyond to help you. About a 10 min walk to the main centre of town. It’s nice being a little way out of the hustle. Very clean rooms and new amenities. Would definitely stay again!
