So many things to love about this place! Our family of four (2 kids; 5yo and 3yo) stayed for 10 days in the family room (with 2 big beds) and we had the most amazing time. The location is second to none - just a few minutes walk to the beach and a few minutes further to all the best cafes and restaurants. Nadeeka and her husband are incredibly kind and were wonderful hosts, always ready to help with anything we needed. They helped us with surfboard rental, tuk tuk rental, airport transfers...even little things like letting us dry our towels on the main washing lines and showing us local shortcuts. The room was much bigger than we expected, and super comfortable. We barely used the AC and although the beds are fitted with mosquito nets, we barely needed to use them which was a pleasant surprise. There are mosquitos and other creepy crawlies outside though. We also loved the semi-outdoor bathroom and having a small kitchen attached to the room just made life easier (the cafe was not opened yet while we were there). Overall we loved our stay at Jungle Escape and will definitely be back!

It is Fantastic, a big room with a beautiful bathroom and a wonderful portico, with a table and chairs to have a peaceful time by the lawn. The family is lovely and Rumesh helps you as much as he can. Also the beach Hiriketiya is a 5min walk.

I stayed in the dorm. I'm usually not a dorm fan, but this was nicely private with the little walls and doors. Staff is amazing (like everywhere in Sri Lanka). The restaurant is good. Amazingly calm pool area where to relax (has a bar also). Really near everything. Nice beach for the surfers just outside the hotel and other beaches near as well. Good spa that they collaborate with (discounts).

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. The hosts were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful, greeting us with a delicious fresh fruit smoothie as a welcome drink. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

One of the best stays during our trip. The owners were super helpful. The room is clean, nicely furnished and new. The location outside of busy Hiri area, which makes it more quiet. Easy to walk from the place to the beach. :)
