Incredible value for money, lovely pool and spacious room with a balcony and even bean bags. The pool is divine and the pool furniture is beautiful. Close to stunning beach. Definitely recommend. One of thr nicest places we stayed and pretty cheap.

I had an incredible experience at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough! The owner, Shehan, is an exceptional host—kind, helpful, and incredibly talented. Not only is he a great chef who prepared the most delicious lobster and fresh fish, but he’s also a skilled therapist. After an amazing safari, where I was lucky enough to see a leopard and a bear, Shehan’s relaxing massage was exactly what I needed to unwind. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and well-equipped rooms that provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a stunning natural saltwater pool within walking distance, and the beach feels like your own private paradise. Shehan’s knowledge of the wildlife is impressive, making the safari even more special. His passion for the animals and the surrounding nature is truly inspiring. I only stayed for one night, but I wish I had booked at least three! It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy fresh seafood paired with excellent white wine and cold beer, and immerse yourself in nature. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality and hard work. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Wishing you all the best!

The place is beautifully located in a rice paddy. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were kind, helpful and lovely (x10). We found the home cooked meals (breakfast and dinner) better than what the restaurants in town could offer. We booked our Yala safari through them and everything went smoothly. I can not speak highly enough of the place and the owners.

Everything. The staff are so friendly and accomodating, they will help book a great safari tour. The accomodation was so comfortable and clean and everything in great condition. The location is close enough to walk to town but far away enough it is serene. The breakfast is just phenomenal.

We didn't sleep at the cabin because there was a problem with the booking but the host did everything to organise a place to sleep. We had 2 wonderful safaris on a motorbike and Danushka was an amazing guide with a lot knowledge. We could take a look at the cabin and it was a wonderful place with great view and a pond nearby.

This is one of the nicest home stay/guest house we have stayed in Sri Lanka. It’s very different, with rice fields around. The gardens are lovely & peaceful. The unit is very well presented and it a bit different. The host, Shantha is very obliging with food. We stayed there while doing a safari at Yala National Park & it was close enough to enjoy the surroundings. We highly recommend Yaye Guest House
