Lovely, accommodating family. Looked after us well. Host took us on an informal safari trip to see animals truly in the wild and history of local boulders. Great pool. Excellent food. Beautiful unspoilt beach but not for swimming.

I had an incredible experience at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough! The owner, Shehan, is an exceptional host—kind, helpful, and incredibly talented. Not only is he a great chef who prepared the most delicious lobster and fresh fish, but he’s also a skilled therapist. After an amazing safari, where I was lucky enough to see a leopard and a bear, Shehan’s relaxing massage was exactly what I needed to unwind. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and well-equipped rooms that provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a stunning natural saltwater pool within walking distance, and the beach feels like your own private paradise. Shehan’s knowledge of the wildlife is impressive, making the safari even more special. His passion for the animals and the surrounding nature is truly inspiring. I only stayed for one night, but I wish I had booked at least three! It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy fresh seafood paired with excellent white wine and cold beer, and immerse yourself in nature. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality and hard work. Very beautiful recently build luxury establishment and super staff. The room was amazing and the pool was clean with warm water. They also offer tasteful dinner a la carte which is convenient after a safari. Highly recommended!

The location within green rice fields is stunning. The food was tasty and the staff was always very welcoming and helpful. It was awesome that the food (breakfast and dinner) was served outside. In general I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is am experience you wont forget! Sleeping on a platform in the jungle was so peaceful. We absolutely loved the motorbike safari, highlight of the holiday. Saw elephants crocodiles and heaps of birds. Owner is very experienced guide and so knowledgeable. We loved it, absolutely unforgettable.

This hotel is perfect for staying to make Safari in Yala. The room is very clean, the owner is very caring, helpful and kind. He arranged private safari tour for us for reasonable price and we saw leopard. He also arranged few transfers for us. Breakfast was also very good. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, we liked everything! Highly recommend

Very nice and simple accommodation in the middle of nature. Great host who prepares delicious food in the evenings and mornings and teaches you a lot about nature and the animals that live there. If you are looking for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! A safari etc. can also be organized from there (Yala & Bundala Nationalpark are nearby) We can warmly recommend this accommodation!
