The place was super nice, I would say better than the pictures and the owner was really welcoming, he made us feel at home straight away. Helped us to order some dinner, gave us directions and made us a lovely breakfast. He is always available if you need help. The beds were comfy (double bed mattress was a lot comfier than single that’s the only comment). Air con, mozzy nets, washing machine - couldn’t have asked for much more.

Lovely atmosphere at star canal cottage, Leon looked after us well and we appreciated the breakfast! Rooms are simple but very clean and have new very comfy mattresses!
